What IT security really costs you -
Your investment into safety
The damage of an attack cannot be
IT Security as an Investment – Not a Cost
Real IT security doesn’t start with tools – it starts with a functioning system.
Many companies underestimate how important IT security actually is today.
An internal IT administrator or IT security officer quickly causes:
- 4,000 – 10,000+ EUR per month
- plus infrastructure, tools and training
- and often only covers part of the actual requirements.
The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) Germany recommends investing a relevant proportion of annual gross sales in IT security.
Publications in the German Medical Journal assume that companies should budget an average of around 4% of their annual gross turnover for IT security.
What this means in practice for your business?
For many companies, this means
- Several thousand Euros per month for employees
- Several thousand Eurors per month for tools
- own IT security resources
- or complex individual solutions
In reality, many companies invest significantly less – and therefore bear a correspondingly higher risk.
A security incident not only means an IT failure, but can quickly have consequences that threaten the company’s existence – financially, organizationally and legally.
Our approach in IT security and what it means
Steffi’s Cloud takes a different approach.
🗸 You don’t get a collection of tools
🗸 but a functioning security system – tailored to your risk, your infrastructure and your actual requirements.
🗸 Scalable, without internal resources and continuously developed
🗸 Personal support – even beyond classic security issues
Steffi’s Cloud does not offer you an off-the-shelf product, but a holistic security system that is geared to your risk.
Why there are no fixed prices
Many providers sell individual solutions – antivirus, support by email or ticket system, firewall or backup.
We take a different approach – we supply a system.
After all, real IT security can only be achieved if all components work together.
Our services are deliberately not bookable individually – because security only works as a system.
The following investment ranges and prices are approximate values in Euros plus VAT (if applicable) and are based on typical scenarios.
The specific scope of services will be determined as part of an individual security concept in your local currency.

The cost of IT security is predictable -
The cost of a cyber incident is not
The investment range for our security system is typically between:
EUR 125 – EUR 245 per device / month
The actual investment into IT security results from:
- Your industry and your risk
- the use (office, home office, field service)
- the type of device (workstations, servers, etc.)
- the structure of your company (e.g. several locations)
- Reporting, audits and from regulations.
Our IT security does not end with protection
Even with maximum protection, no system can guarantee 100% that an incident will never occur.
That’s why we go one step further: we also protect you financially.

Who benefits most from our IT security system
Our security system is aimed at companies of all sizes –
from sole traders to growing businesses.
For solo self-employed persons and small companies
Smaller companies in particular are often faced with the challenge of not having their own IT security department – and at the same time being increasingly the focus of attacks.
This is exactly where we come in.
For smaller companies, we offer a structured introduction to the system – adapted to their requirements and possibilities – following an individual assessment.
Our IT security system considers smaller companies:
🗸 Up to 5-10 actively used end devices
🗸 Simple IT structure (no server / no complex infrastructure)
🗸 No distributed locations
The size of the company, the number of devices used, your industry and the complexity of your IT structure are particularly important factors here.
We enable you to get started with professional IT security,
without the complexity of classic enterprise solutions.
For companies with higher requirements
Companies with multiple locations, more complex structures or increased risk benefit from a security system that not only protects, but also actively reacts.
Our approach to IT security
If you are only looking for individual tools, you will find numerous inexpensive solutions on the market.
However, real IT security is not achieved through individual measures, but through a coordinated overall system.
Whether a small company or an established structure – the decisive factor is not the size, but the demand for holistic IT security and a partnership at eye level.
Those who pursue this claim consciously choose a different path.
